WWA: Winners of Jade Ring & an Open Mic

The Wisconsin Writers Association has announced the winners of its 2020 Jade Ring Prizes. First place finishers each receive a jade ring and $100. A list of first through third place participants and honorable mentions follows:

The WWA will honor all finalists at a virtual event in the autumn. The Jade Ring Contest will commence again in the spring of 2021.
In other WWA news, the organization is hosting an Open Mic and Craft Talk on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. This event includes a twenty-minute craft talk by Sue Roupp, author of Writing a Memoir in 6 Easy Steps. Her topic for her talk is "Writing About Difficult Topics from Your POV."
